My Marins

Hi,
Here's my two Marins, there are many more like them, but these are mine

1992 Pine Mountain, bought from my friend who I remember buying it new, it's unrestored and original apart from tires, saddle and later SPDs. Rides great and used by me regularly (in the dry).
The other is a recent project build; it's a 1994 Eldridge Grade, "re-purposed" to my favorite model, the 1990 Pine Mountain. Not a 100% perfect match but I'm happy with the DX kit and XT/Mavic 231 Ceramics etc..
I'm just awaiting delivery of the inner two rings to finish it off and I want a Flite on each of them ultimately.
I'm definitely a rider more than a collector really, who started riding/racing in 1988, so they're more of a nostalgic toy to be played with for me, rather than a garage collection. All painted at home and parts sourced over time.
I like the look and ride anyway, I guess that's the whole point, always puts a smile on my face going for a spin.
