Just finished this off. Need some time and the right weather to paint it.
Very happy considering I've never been into wood work before.
I did find it very therapeutic though.
Thing now is moving it to its final location. There is some weight there.
I wil post some pics when it's painted and in its final location.
And it wasn't made from a flat pack either.
But I did rob the design from a local garden centre.

nice work - congrats

never recognized such a design of a garden bench; i.e. never saw it in one of our garden centeres here in mainland Europe - I guess its a tribute to the British weather ;)

Like that, well done. I keep planning one for our garden.....but she always finds other projects for me to do instead haha

You need a ridge on top though, or the rain will just rot straight through the roof

If they're cedar shingles, you can get a cedar ridge to go with them.
