the rear wheel spacing is a bugger, back in the day my original hub died and i got the lovely people at Biketreks to ask Hope for a singlespeed hub.

when i came, i excitedly took it to the shed to pop it in.

Doh!


So i hunted around and it ended up with a very nice Shimano DX bmx hub. the nice feature is that you can use cassette cogs and they're held on with a lock ring, so you can tweek your gear.

i Keep meaning to revamp mine, i do love it.

Ive got one too. I'm gathering bits as we speak, it's a 2007 frame but all the stock parts have been relegated to the box in my bedroom. i ran it with pace rc36s and magura racelines briefly but they went and i put the p2s back on. they got bent landing a 180 sloppily and the only other forks i had were some Marzocchi XCRs from the back of the garage. in this picture, sun mammoth i built onto the stock 130mm hub with freewheel, marzocchi forks, club roost i beam, middleburn rs3 cranks, x-lite g force bars, dmr v8s snafu bmx seatpost with shim, vegan friendly no name plastic seat
