Though i'd love the latest issue
Mine is the fourth edition[1988]other editions were 1970, '74 and '81
Is this still going ,its American in origin
 
Looks good.....will it teach a dumbass like me how to tweak my bike properly?

I'm ok with some stuff but other stuff I avoid cos im not 100% sure/have the correct tools.

I'm the same. Never attempt anything I'm not sure I can do 100% right :wink:

Although, with the help of the guys on here I now set V's up correctly and change a chainset.....oh, and change forks!

However, with the LTS build (and also the Tempest when it arrives :roll: ) I had my LBS tune the gears and give it the once over :wink:

Most, if not all retrobikers posses practical skills,im sure
Tuning gears or brakes is really quite simple,just takes a little practice thats all[how much do they charge an hour?] and lets face it ,not many brain surgeons working in ur LBS
Try it for yourself ,if it all goes Pete Tong by all means take it to them then
I've seen folk come in asking to change a puncture[for a tenner :shock: ]
