recently re-sprayed then reassembled with most of it's original components incl the lovely Royce Chainset. Still rides like a dream after 32 years
Forgive the couple of concessions to modernity please
M C Steel were great framebuilders, I was tempted to have different panels or lug lining, but I could not quite afford it when I bought it new so thought I would keep it 'plain jane' and as original. The tyres are temporary, just some I had lying around and I was keen to ride it
I thought some Challenge Open Corsa's would look good? unless anyone has other recommendations?
I also have some CX18 sprints with some period tubs for high days and holidays plus of course the original toe clip pedals for when I need to go the full Eroica
My current need is to find a 7200 Dura Ace front changer as the original was a bit past it's best so I have popped an old Shimano 600 tricolour, but of course that does not match the rear DuraAce now :-(
