Moulden Custom

Retro Newbie
I think I've made the decision to sell my beloved Moulden custom from Moulden Bicycle works. Not sure of the year but when I got it a few years ago it was NOS including most of the parts in the build. This thing is pretty much mint as I've only been using it as a commuter bike and has only seen the odd gravel bike path. I've improved a few things including installing the Amp F3 carbon fork. It came with a rigid Brodie Gatorblade fork which I could easily sell it with instead.

Effective toptube = 22.5"
Seat tube = 19"

not sure of the angles, sorry

Moulden custom fillet brazed reynolds steel frame
Amp F3 carbon Fork
Kore stem
Raceface xy seatpost
Kooka cranks
Time atac pedals

Bottom bracket unknown
Shimano LX headset
LX 9spd drivetrain
Blackspire chainrings
Deore trigger shifters
Flite trans am saddle
Answer taperlite bars
Oury lock on grips
Deore v-brakes
Kore titanium QR

I'm sure I'm forgetting something but you can always contact me for more detailed info. I'm not sure what this thing is worth or if you even got them over there in the UK
I'm located in BC Canada and I'm asking $1500 to start. Not sure what its worth so I'm open to offers. I can send pictures directly to those interested. It seems that I can't download a large enough picture to the website
Cheers
Ryan

It is, looks nice - never heard of the maker though.

Moulden is legendary Canuck steel....up there with Offroad Toad, DeKerf, Brodie, i've never seen one in this country, cool bike :)

Hopefully that answers the brand question. Definitely a little more boutique than any of those brands as well. I don't think Moulden ever built stock sizes, everything was built to order.

I'll keep the split up in mind. If someone wants the bike with the gatorblade, then yes I'll be looking to sell the amp. When I bought the fork it had a 1" steer tube on it. I sent it straight to amp to have a 1 1/8" put on. The guy who did the swap told me that everyone at AMP who saw him working on it thought it was a brand new fork that had been found in a back room somewhere. It's in that good of shape! I even bought a spare pin and bushing kit with it that I have yet to install because it hasn't seen enough use to wear them out. P.S. the fork does have the canti boss for it as well.

Whatever happened with this bike. I am sorry I missed this post. I am a big fan of the bikes. When I was in grade school I started working with Jim Moulden and was with him when we set up the first mountain bike dedicated shop in Edmonton, Canada. We were the first dealer in the town for Konas and Breezers as well as Jim's bikes. After my first mountain bike, which was a local Canadian brand, I had a run of Mouldens over the years and didn't get my next-non Moulden bike until 1999 or so (a Yeti Arc).
