I do love those AMP frames, but it's got the wrong fork. :cry:

The Mongoose Amplifier II is not quite as nice a frame as the original Amplifier or the AMP B2/B3s. Neither the front or rear triangle was built by AMP, the weld quality is lacking, it's heavier and the rear triangle has a bad habit of cracking at both the dropout and main pivot welds. I've seen a few with the crack at the dropout and have one in my workshop with the crack at the main pivot.

I'd recommend holding out for an original Mongoose Amplifier (like I just did, woohoo!) or an AMP B2/B3 over this particular frame.

I suppose that's a fair assessment. Was simply intended as an FYI to anyone considering the bike.
