Trying to rationalise my collection and make room for new projects.

Would like £100 posted for each of these. Discount if you can collect from Glasgow.

First up is an SBC x SnapOn klunker frame and fork.

Think these were some sort of promo offering from Snap On. In the UK they come with rim brakes but I have removed the posts and cable routing for this and have added a coaster brake torque arm mount. I’ve also swapped out the seattube. It originally had a seam welded tube sized for a 25.4mm post, it’s now a proper Columbus seattube and it takes a 27.2mm post. I have left the new seattube a little longer and added a brace to the toptube.

I also added another bottle boss below the factory ones as I couldn’t get a 750ml bottle in or out of a cage in the original position.

‘DWTW’ or Do What Thou Willt placque on toptube.

The frame has a coat of Oxid Vernis clear lacquer (this is brush on so there are some drops and runs but it’sa good thick coat of it) and has Dinitrol applied inside the tubes. The fork I sprayed over black and then red marble stuff from Montana.

1 1/8” headtube/steerer.
27.2mm post.
120mm rear spacing.
27.5” wheel and will clear a 2.35” tyre.
20” centre to top on the seattube.
22” centre to centre on the toptube.

Next up is an Orange P7.

Came to me in a pretty rusty crusty condition so I’ve cleaned all loose paint and rust off, replaced the chainstay bridge and converted to u brake. I trimmed/filled the disc mount on the dropout and removed the hose guide on the seatstay so it’s strictly u brake only as it stands. They are represent dropout inserts available from Orange and they do an insert with the disc tab on it rather than the slotted steel tab this one had. I had a P7 a few years ago that used the insert with the disc tab and it was a good system. If you want to go that route then I can add a ziptie cable guide back into the seatstay to keep the house/cable in check.

I also added a seat binder, reinforced the end of the seattube slot and the front mech cable guide was real crusty so I removed that and brazed a Swiss franc coin over a small hole that was left in the seattube.

Again, given a coat of Oxid Vernis to protect the raw steel bits and a good skoosh of Dinitrol inside too.

This has the 29.6mm (or something like that) seattube that comes with the shim to make it 27.2mm.

Has rear gear cable routing and a hanger plus sliding dropouts so can be singlespeed or geared.

1 1/8” headtube.
135mm spacing.
27.2mm post.
21” center to centre/19” centre to centre seattube.
24” centre to centre toptube.
