grantoury Kona Fan Today at 19:25 #4 650 for a hand built frame is not too bad. I have a frame and fork out of a small series by a builder that was 675 euros in 2010.

bikeworkshop Old School Grand Master Today at 19:59 #6 My rule of thumb is you spend 3x what the frameset cost total, to get a bike built up to a certain quality point So if frame only is 650, 150 fork if you're not choosy, £2400 suggested total build price. I don't think most people would describe that as in the "affordable" bracket, or as a rat bike. If your rat bike costs 2.5k, how much is your "best"? All very Bespoke I've never seen so many d-a/xtr derailleurs and King headsets in one place at once ever before. Or cloth caps, excluding point-to-point races in the 70s Last edited: Today at 20:04
