Quick question, what do people use to attach modern lights to this type of bracket? I want to attach a Lumotec or some other modern dynamo powered light to it but can't find anything for the job. My fork crown is really tight and won't accomodate a light bracket.
I still use these old brackets for my battery lamps with modern battery holder inserts. I always use back up modern LEDs. Im sure with some tinkering a modern LED light by CatEye or Moon could be made to fit.
Of course an old Miller dynamo still does the trick...
In this shot I did manage to get a Cateye LED clamped onto the fork...

Cheers guys. The brackets like on that blue Carlton are readily available but I can't find any way of mounting a Lumotec etc. to it as they're all designed to go on the fork crown. FYI I already have the dynamo hub so don't want to go with a traditional dynamo or battery power.
Is there a particular name for this kind of light fitting? If I Google fork mounted light I obviously just get fork crown mount lights.
