Finished this build recently and had it out for the first spin and shakedown yesterday.I can see what the fuss is about with Anthems, these are just fantastic, almost perfect. The 2011 Sid suits the frame perfectly.Im running it 2x11 XTR with carbon bits and bobs so its nice and light. One thing to highlight though,Im running older XTR975 I.S. calipers with the post mount Sid and the only adapter that seems to suit is the KCNC one,all the other adapters-even the Shimano ones will not fit as they foul the caliper. However its not all plain sailing with the KCNC one,the original bolts and spacer kit will not fit and I replaced the bolts with shorter ones, ended up using M8 stainless locking nuts as spacers on the post mount and used shims on the calipers as can be seen in the pic.Its fiddly but it fits with patience. That aside this is one heck of a ride, climbs excellently and descends like a rocket,a bit of a Swiss Army knife bike.

Re:

There is something about Giant full sussers. I'd always wanted one since I was a kid but when I came from a poor family and they cost....well a lot that was never going to happen. Until a few months ago.

Picked up this Giant Trance for £90 needing a little attention. I've struggled to find any full sus that I actually felt comfortable with but as soon as I started riding this I found my dream bike. Just used it in a 24hr crosscountry race and honestly it sounds stupid but with this I have no fear and will literally ride anything.

Re:

Looks good.

With you on Giant FS.....I was never attracted to any FS bikes until someone gave me the remains of an NRS. I really like it (1) it is bike shaped (2) it rides like a hardtail but doesn't batter your behind!

And .... Great down hill without the penalty going up,
