I've decided to sell my Scott scale 30 Carbon as I've got too much cross over with my Retro rides and I'm hankering after a new Orange purchase.
Fortunately I'm not selling any of the Retro fleet to achieve this!
Spec-
'06 Scott Scale 30 Carbon in Medium size (approx 17" frame) Some scratches and cable rub. Cosmetically 6/10
Fox F80 forks with lockout.... due a service but in good condition. 7/10
Mavic Crossride wheelset - straight and true, no broken spokes Centre lock rotors Originally cost £160 7/10
Shimano Deore LX Hydraulic disc brakes - new last year. Cost £110 8/10
Ritchey carbon seatpin - Originally cost £170!! - 7/10
Currently running as a 1x9 set-up with an e-thirteen chainguide (£50), Saint shifter ( £40 brand new) XT rear mech, XT 9spd cassette, KMC chain.
Over the last year, I've run this bike as a single speed set-up (20.5lbs with sus fork!). All parts to convert to a single speed also included in the sale....
The Cranks are Shimano Hollowtech 'hone' with a brand new 32t chainring. The splines on the LH crank have worn however and the arm won't stay on. ( not good at 3am whilst riding 'Sleepless in the Saddle!)
Ideally it needs a new crankset, but you may be able to get away with purchasing a new crank arm.
The White tyres are not included ( already sold) as well as the Flite and the spd pedals
I'm Looking for £600 ono plus postage for the complete package although if there is more interest in a split, I'll go down this route and post individual prices.
I've tried to describe condition as best as I can. This certainly isn't in A1 condition but has been a reliable work horse in it's many guises and is structurally sound.
