Modern 80mm Forks with V-Mounts (not SIDS)?

spinner aeris, apparantly the lightest fork of its type (at one point?) probably still is. can be had quite cheap on ebay (compared to original retail price)

A lot of Rockshox forks can be internally adjusted from 100 to 80mm, the travel adjust versions IIRC (best check before purchase!)

Or, a RockShox U-Turn fork wound down to 80mm would do the same job

However the 2010 RS range only seems to have V mounts on the some of the Tora range, which are the opposite end to Sid's, still good forks, but not high end stuff.

Fox don't use `V' mounts for 2010

Magura have the low end Menja with 85mm & 'V' mounts available for 2010, never used Magura so dunno if they're any good or not

Marzocchi's 2010 offerings are also very low end forks with V mounts

I have some '08 Reba's with V mounts that were 105mm, add a spacer & they're now 85mm.

You may have to look for some older forks to get a good high end 80mm fork with V mounts

Magura menjas. Fantastic forks! VERY stiff with two arches, super plush, and very well damped. You can decrease the travel by fitting spacers, in about 20mins. I've got two pairs. Each cost about £150 on the bay - one brand new and one a year old.
Some have V mounts; some have magura mounts.
They're brilliant!

I have some Fox F80, which replaced a set of SIDs. They are good.

Menjas aren't "low end" forks, yessir....

All Magura forks are excellent BTW, even the actual "low end" ones.
