I was thinking about getting a couple of these for my bikes. Do you think they are very accurate? It might not be great... It is Roadmaster (The same thing you get at Wal-Mart.) For $5 you probably won't get much.

Garmin and Strave are post 97, therefore have no place in this bit of the interwebz. Tis the devil's work i tell ye.

No idea if those silver fork mounted jobbies are accurate, sorry. But proper olden days technology, like lolly sticks in spokes, so discussion about them is allowed.

I agree with Radar. I still use cycle computers.
My Cateye is spot on to phone GPS.
Have tested it a few times.

26 in mtb wheels is not the same as 26 inch old English wheel size
A 23 section tyre will read differently to a 37 mm section tyre on the same wheel

At best, it will give an approximation like plotting distance on a map with a compass
