I noticed a local ad in Craigslist for a Miele Columbus SL frame which I am interested in.
Does anyone have any insight on Columbus SL vs other materials for ride quality, or any information about Mieles specifically?
Miele was a Canadian bike maker started by Jim Miele, who brought Italian techniques and materials with him when he moved to Canada from Italy. By reputation, the frames he built are quite good. The name was purchased by a company in Quebec after he passed away in January 2003, and their quality has apparently dropped off.
