Middleburn RS3s

As rocking horse poo. Just popular among " those who know " ( I was going to say cognisenti but gave up spelling the bugger )

I'm finding the same with my RS-DH cranks... distinct lack of info out there for those of us that have them!

and what is even more confusing is that they say "RS-DH" on one side and "RS-HD" on the other... urm......

RS3s are pretty rare as they kept breaking.

Middleburn had real problems with area round the square taper interface which would split even under relatively low torque.

My own RS3 from BITD has a non-matching left-hand crank exchanged under warranty for the very same reason. You can see the development cycle. RS3 with same sculpt as RS1. RS3 with "lip" going in opposite direction to crank arm, beefing up the area round the BB spindle and later versions where the rotated the square hole 45 degrees to get round the problem.

As for bragging rights - I ordered my RS1s 3 months before they came out. And my RS3s in first year of production. Also have the RS3 sculpt QRs...
