Middleburn HELP !

Just bought these.

But which out of these chainring bolts do I need ? http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Cate ... goryID=159

I know I had to make spacers to pack my other ones out !

I hope to get the bitls I need on order ASAP to ride with Weds night !

So are you running them with a single ring :? , if so the narrow ones should do.

Whats confusing is they list outer & inner bolts !

I need middle ones !

Can you not just dump the spider and run with one of these

Never had a middleburn crank set before !

So the 5arm spider comes off ( is it easy to get off )

Then fit what Harryburgundy suggested ! ( £45 ouch )

I'm assuming you can. Your spider will be secured with an 8 prong lock ring. Undo this (8 prong BB tool is the same). tap off the spider (and sell to lessen the pain of buying the Uno ring) pop on the new ring, lock-ring and off you go. Much neater than spider and chainring in my humble.
I am of course no expert...so I may have it all wrong!

You dont really get middle ones, the outer bolts go right through the outer and middle rings, inners are for the granny ring, pretty sure the narrow ones will do the job

BTW would highly recommend steel ones for a single speed.

Oh...and the rings are 3/32 or 1/8th...just make sure you get the right one for your build

Right so same bb tool undo lock ring, then bash lightly off the sppider. Fit uno ring, presume this tightens up with the same bb tool ! JD

Think mychain is not the 8/9 speed one 1/8th or sommut

Seems easy enough to me !
