Does anybody know the stand over of mid 90s orange p7 19 inch with rigid fork? an the efective top tube lenght, i cant seem to find any mid 90s orange catalogues here either, can any one put a link up as to where to find them. Thanks

Thanks. How much different is it in size to a 17"? as i ride a 17" 2007 P7 at the mo. Would like a mid 90s P7 with rigid forks, was wondering if i would be better with a 17 or 19". Thanks

Orange suggest this in their literature for the mid to late 90's bike sizes:

15" fit riders 5'3" - 5'7"
17" fit riders 5'6" - 5'9"
19" fit riders 5'8" - 6'1"
21" fit riders 6'0" - 6'4"

I have a 19" E4 and a 17" Clockwork (both 1998) and at just a touch under 5'10" the E4 is about perfect. The clockwork feels a little cramped, but a seatpost with a little layback and a slightly longer stem than the 100mm it has fitted should sort that I think.

I've just had a look on the Orange website and your 17" P7 is said to fit folks between 5'4" - 5'8" so it sounds a little smaller than the older frames of the same size (If that makes sense?). But you have to watch the top tube length on the older Orange frames, I think they're shorter than the newer ones, so it will depend on if standover height or reach is the bigger issue I guess.

Thanks, i was thinking the 19 inch would be ok, as am about 5,8" but have a longer back. Bike is going to have rigids, so i dont have to worry about stand over to much!! as long as its not greater than 30 inch..

Yup, I'd suggest a 19" then. Orange frames are quite 'small' as they measure to the top of the seat tube. I think a mid 90's 19" frame is a touch under 17" centre to centre, but with a 22.5" top tube.
