Been looking for a mid-2000s Chameleon for awhile. I think this is a 2005? Any help appreciated on figuring the year out. Building it up this weekend as a singlespeed. Should be a fun light and snappy bike.

Very nice. I have a similar one in orange that I am going to fit some Race face cranks on. What length axle did you use please?

Re:

I used a 73 with yellow spacers. You can see them in the photos. It requires a 68 bb, didn't have one though.

Just finished putting on better parts and a front brake. Trying to mostly murder it out in black... Need a black Salsa collar and the front wheel has silver spokes, ugh..

Tomorrow dirt side.

Thanks for that but it is the Axle length I was looking for i.e. the spindle length not the bb size.

Had a great shakedown ride on my old favorite Sunset Peak in the San Gabriel Mountains with Mount Baldy in the distance.
