Merlin Malts are great bikes, a mate has an '04 one, very nice bit of kit.

They are one of the best £500 new bikes out there, which the majority of folks can afford, unlike a US Merlin, which hardly anyone can afford.

It's like saying that a Ford Focus is inferior to a Ferrari, you simply cannot compare the two together, they are aimed at completely different markets.
