I guess so- Doing machining work etc. Skilled industry rates; Full order book; No whiny bike nerds to deal with... I can see their point :D

But even if they re-made some of the old 20" and 26" Cooks stuff, it's the genuine article that triggers the memories that make grown men reach for their wallets...

See the re-issued looptail frames from S.E. Racing. Cheaper and more useable than the originals but still it's the old surviviors that fetch silly money.

I guess that's why we're all on here :D

The sad fact is, if I'd scoured the globe to build up a fully-loaded *OLD * CBR Cruiser or similar I wouldn't risk using it every day, locking it outside the pub etc. With a retro CBR (or a Humu - the poor man's alternative) or the Roots I'd have no such worries.

The eternal "Garage Queen" dilemma...

...If you buy a Roots just let me know which pub you'll be leaving it outside ;)

ha ha ha!!!

lol!!

LOL too! :D

Bikes are for riding. And then locking outside the pub.

A few months' worth of road grime, some duct tape and funky wooden mudguards etc. and I don't think the Roots would attract too much attention.

Whereas if I lock my Hei Hei in town while I go shopping I do admit to being a bit nervous, cos it looks the part and attracts a bit of attention  .
