Found this on craigslist back in 2009. Drove up to Boston in a snow storm to pick this one up. It was mostly like this when I purchased it, I have made very few changes to it over the years.

Never have to much purple ano. Lovely frame. No purple cranks? Grafton?

Nice one! Not often you see colorful ano on a Merlin. Also seems to be a special order with all the cables on the TT and pulley on the seat tube. Fork looks not very useful though ...

Shhhhh, dont tell anyone about the fork. I have an old wings spring kit for it that is currently on my desk. Trying to decide if there is enough demand to make a similar kit.

What I wanted to say is the fork noticed the early Merlin frame and did a suspension correction all by itself! Good fork that!
