Morning, I’ve had this a couple of years now and absolutely love it, but it’s not getting the use it deserves.
It’s an IGH-specific frame, cable guides all set for single rear cable, horizontal dropouts (Alfine/Nexus would suit, I think), very neat.
Canti fitment, nice clearance, 30mm with mudguards, could maybe stretch to wider (especially if losing the ‘guards).
Gearing is a Sachs 7-sp of some vintage, but I re-oiled and it works pretty well. Ugly bar shifter though, if I’m honest.
Matching rims, xt (I think) cantis. Strong light crank.
Saddle, seatpost, pedals, saddlebag NOT included. I can try to find some basic replacements in the stash if needed.
55cm c-c seat and top tubes. 13.5cm head tube.
Lovely original paint. One chip on seatstay, small ding (likely a swinging canti straddle) on front top tube - have to look carefully to see it.
Mudguards included though currently off for summer.
Tyres are 200km old.
£300 collected Bournemouth, or let’s talk about postage or meet-up options.

That’s cool. I can’t afford it, but indulge me in a question? How does the hub ratio compare to the usual cog-sprocket arrangements?

Hi there… there’s probably an answer in gear inches somewhere, I’ve taken the following from google’s AI, though it seems pretty consistent with a few websites.
I would also always discuss price, especially for the lack of hassle that a collection brings.

In practical terms, I’ve done a few rides and never had felt lacking in gearing. These were fairly relaxed rides, no extreme hills.

Bit niche this one! Anyhow, I’m keen for it to have a new home, so £250. Or… of course, talk to me if you’re interested!
