I've got this very nice Mendiz frame and fork for sale. Mendiz are still in business, but only with carbon frames I think. This one must be early 90's, judging by the Lemond-inspired paint (The red is a very bright red/pink, and the yellow is fluo, the colours aren't as washed out as they appear in the pics!) Made from "Cromoly Corsa 473" (I have no idea what make of tubes they are, or how they compare to columbus or reynolds) with fluted top, down and seat tubes. Lugs, brake bridge, BB, fork crown etc all look like decent quality. The paint is in pretty good condition - a few chips here and there but no rust as far as I can see, so should touch up quite nicely. The fork could do with some more polishing time, but again should come up quite well with a bit more time than I've given it.
ST is 53cm c-c, TT 54cm c-c, HT 13cm. I measure the rear OLN at 128mm. Seatpost is 26.6mm - a correct size selle san marco post is included with the frame.
BB is french threaded, but I will include a french threaded cup and cone BB with the frame, or if you need a different length spindle then french threaded BBs are available from velo orange I think (might be pricey), or alternatively the YST or similar threadless BBs will fit.
There's a shimano headset fitted which I haven't touched - it doesn't show any signs of pitting, but feels like it could do with a regrease anyway.
I'm asking 150 GBP for the frame and fork, headset, BB and seatpost, including tracked postage to the UK/europe (from Spain) SOLD
