Hope / Mavic Disc Wheelset
Now that I no longer own disc brakes (or a frame or set of forks that can use them - fully retro now y'know) I am selling my wheels. They are black 32h Hope Sport hubs laced to grey Mavic X317 disc-specific rims. They are drilled for six-bolt rotors.
Condition is excellent: both hubs are unmarked apart from light wear around the flanges where the spokes have rubbed; the Mavic decal shows very slight wear on the front wheel; and the rear rim shows zero signs of use because I recently had it rebuilt with a NOS rim (after sone over-zealous tightening by the LBS cracked the original rim). The bearings feel the same as they did when I bought them.
Overall - the condition excellent. Straight and true and cosmetically they look pretty much new. I paid loads for them at the time (I have vivid memories of buying the rear hub for £90 on its own) and I did not get much mileage out of them.
I'm keeping the tyre...asking £115 posted.
