I have my wife's 17" P7 that was last ridden in , ooohhh mid 1990's I think. We're pretty much agreed she's never going to ride it again, so having had a good look round your fine site and having had many memories stirred I'd like to ask what y'all think.
Is it desirable as is, or better to break it down? Its a mix of Deore LX, STX, and Exage rear mech. Ringle cages, USE seat post, X-lite bar ends and so forth.
I've got a load of other parts too, but I'll make a proper post for all those.

Retro??? This was my life for gawd's sake.

Its a 17" Orange P7 bought as a frameset from Bike Scene in Guisborough back around 1995 ish, iirc. Nickel finish, its virtually intact as it has been hardly ever ridden and had the tubes sprayed internally with lube a few times back when we were riding. There is some rust apparent on the outside of the RH fork leg, as seen in the picture.
LX Brakes, LX shifters and front mech and crankset, STX headset, Exage Country rear mech for some reason, Mavic SBP rims on DT double butted spokes as built by my own fair hand, I think the hibs are LX too but not sure at all. USE seatpost, X-lite bar-ends, 1 red Ringle bottle cage as I will take the blue one and sell separately.

Looking for £ 395.00

I also have a load of other parts to sell for which I'll do a separate thread.

Obviously I'm a newb, and you don't know me from Adam but if it helps with buyer confidance, my wife and I have a eBay feedback of 675, 100% positive. I'm an architect by profession so hopefully that shows me to be a "trustworthy fellow."

Apart from the nostalgia I have joined purely to sell this bike, and parts, but I'll post up my other P7 in the general forum because I think you'll like that. As i said, this isn't retro to me, its just our bikes and how they've been since I stopped riding in anger.

Bump post and to say I may consider breaking this down if there are enough parts buyers. Frame Forks, headset and BB £250.

I know we shouldnt comment on prices but have a search around from previous sales for a guide as to maybe lack of interest? :D (trying to help not offend)

Ok, we need to sell this.
I will split it down into parts now.

Frame and Forks, STX headset and BB, £195 (p&p not inc)

Other bits? Please ask away below and I will post back prices.

If your splitting this up for sale fella, you need to add individual sale prices to the parts please..

I'm going to lock this again. once you have worked out the prices you would like for the parts, let me know and I'll unlock this for you.. ;)
