Might be a long shot, but they did make them... Preferably CD colour, would consider rim, a pair, or even wheels

Have you tried SJS Cycles - they may have some for tandems.

Unless SJS have stock not listed on the website, their only 26” 40 hole rim is a Koga KM19. I know this because it’s about all I could find to build into a 40 hole Phil Wood hub with Bullseye axle conversion for my 110mm spaced cruiser.

Yes there aren't too many about, and all the 40h hubs I can find appear to be 145mm with little option of shortening to 135. I'm not too bothered, the 36h parts that I already have will be fine I'm sure, but if I could find a 40h for the rear I'd take I just in case
