Marzocchi XCR maintenance

I have bought a Marzocchi Repair kit for my Marzocchi XCR.
Are there any tuning tips concerning oil etc.?

The fork is in use with a Marin Indian Firetrail from 1994/1995.
I plan to get on the road again as quickly as possible.
