Marzocchi xc 400-500

I recall some bloke in Holland is selling a Principia with spare XC700s in red.

Mmmmm

You're going to get me into trouble with the wife Melvin!!

She hasn't seen the bank statement yet.

Bromont on the way!!

I asked the seller whether he would be willing to sell seperately.

XC500s only came in the following colours.

Titanium (more of a gold),
Purple,
Blue, and
Silver

So finding a red set is going to be hard ;)

There is a blue set for sale on eBay at the moment, or at least there was a few days ago...

XC700

I think it's the XC700 I need, I have my eyes on a set. but the crown is green and the legs are red, would like all red!! Sorry anal isn't it!!

Has anyone changed the colour of anodised parts?!

Never heard of a green XC700, so probably it is a DH3 you encountered. Pretty sure Retrobikeguy was selling such a green/red configuration recently.

DH3 came in red and green. I do have a green pair. They are great forks. It is in my Koga Miyata SkyExpension downhill machine currently. My Verlicchi/Iron Horse has XC700s.

Marzocchi still sevices those forks, what imo makes them morally superior to apparently disposibles producing/unvironmental unfriendly Rock Shox & others
