Marzocchi Bomber forks top cap

Help !

I was out on the trails today trying out my new build , when I came across another mtber in need of a pump . Being a helpful chap, I stopped , put my bike down , and not only offered my pump but actually used it too .
When I got home , I noticed the top cap was missing from the forks ,



Looks a bit like the r/h one , but without the hole under the M



I went back to where I helped out the chap , as it seemed the most obvious place to look , but couldn't find it
TBH could be anywhere on the trails I used , but thought it worth going back .

Does anyone have a spare , or know of somewhere that may stock one ?

Might be worth a phone call to them though? What does the cap do? Is it just a dust/dirt cover kind of thing?

Yes that's all it did mate. Stop crap getting in the valves . Found a solution with an olive oil lid the right size , and some blu tac :facepalm:
