Marin Team DH 1998

I know that this is for 1997 and younger but i thought people may be interested.
I raced for Marin / Team-Chevin-DHD in the mid to late 90's and was the first person in the UK to get the official Marin Team DH bike to test.
It was so new that the X-vert carbons were not even in production (I put them on later).
After two years racing it i moved teams so sold it never to be seen again :-(
I had been looking for one for the last few years so i can hang it on my wall with all my old team kit.
well last month one came up!!!!
I snapped his hand off for a bloomin pretty penny ill tell you! and it was near origional spec! as there were only around 15 imported it is highly likely that it may have been mine (its in the correct size).
There were over 200 B-17 imported and also around 20 frames but the frame if i can remember didn't have the full name on the top tube (please correct me if im wrong).
I also raced the smaller races on a mount vision so am now on the look out for one!

I sold the one i had to someone that hawked me on my youtube video of it , made me an offer i couldn't refuse £600 so i sold it , if u look on the comments on the video u can see him asking me after it
Here was my one ,it was hardly used ,totally standard with original XT ,19 inch frame , it was mint ,i had the original tires an saddle ,but the tires even tho unused had perished with cracks in them .

What a blast from the past! I had that exact same bike in '98 to the tee, bar the red hope headset spacers!
