trying to get some space back in my garage. A project never really started.
Having spoken with the resident Marin experts I'm concerned this will be a touch too small for me at 6.2. Frame meaures 19 centre of bb to top of the seatube, which I think is 17.5 c-c and how Marin measure this.
Originally purchased off here viewtopic.php?f=2&t=275071 for the sum of £50.
I took the bottom bracket out without any problems. The seatpost was stuck. Stuck stuck. It did give...but needed some heat to get it out, which has scorched a bit of the paintwork. However the frame has no major scratches and no dents or dings.
I managed to track down a 29.5mm seat post which was difficult!
Anyway, for £30 collected from East Devon you get:
Frame, forks, headset, seatpost, stem, club roost risers, gripshift (look a bit cheap but welcome to them), dx cantis, dx brake levers (sti's but with the shifters taken off, bought by me like this), original Marin seat clamp lever.
Oh and I have some rough Marin black flat bars in the garage somewhere.
All in all that's a pretty good deal I'd say. Drop me a line if any queries or questions.
