I loaned this to my brother in law about 3 years ago and he is emigrating so has returned it to me, in a considerably worse state than I gave it to him in!
The BB was absolutely shot so I spent a good few hours getting it out (25 years for a Shimano sealed BB ain't too bad!) and putting another one in at the weekend.
It's too small for me anyway which is why I didn't miss it, so would rather somebody else enjoy it.
I longed for one of these back in the 90's, there's just something special about the way Marin's of this era ride.

The back wheel is now an STX on Ritchey Rock Comp with some random rear tyre and the front tyre is different too, but other than that it is all stock.
It has the original purple bar ends and matching bottle cage, the purple stem has faded a fair bit on top but the forks are still looking pretty good.
It even has the matching purple pedals, although the bearings need looking at in one of them and purple QR seatpost bolt.
I think he has been dicking about with the shifters because they do not look like a pair and it won’t shift onto the top ring (it’s the shifter not the mech)
Other than that it’s all good, it even has Gorilla brake booster on there!

£50 collected from just outside Rugby

Re:

i found this at the back of the garage on the weekend - i thought it had gone but the sale must have fallen through!
i can't remember who actually agreed to buy it in the end (it might have been a Darren?) but it is still here and still £50 for anybody who's interested?!
