Marin Muirwoods 1989

Believed to be a 1989 Muirwoods

Spent today forcing the seatpost out as it had seized solid removing the ruined BB and fitting some nice new black V brakes.

Plan is to make it my commuting bike to replace the Raleigh Cobra when it's done with full length black mudguards, rack and panniers on the back, 21 gears and V brakes.

The bottom Bracket is prooving impossible to remove So far I have destroyed (by bending) my new ice tools bb tool, ruined the head of a screwdriver and taken the corners off my crow bar. :evil: :evil: :evil:

On a positive note the new black setpost has arrived and fits like a glove but without sticking after some prep work of the seat tube.
