Now don't get too excited...!
This is a project that I have thrown together, an 18" Marin Muirwoods. The frame is 1997 or thereabouts, triple butted, paintwork is scratched but there are no dents. The fork came with the frame, but I don't think it is original. I have used the original crank and middle chain ring, got a set of bulletproof Weinmann rimmed wheels, removed the cassette. Now it is single speed, with an old suntour VX mech to tension the chain. Stem is Dirt Research, and the bars are Marin alloy, with Sunline grips. Brakes are Tektro Vs.
This is a working bike, but needs some work to get it to work better. The single speed arrangement works fine, but if you stand up and push hard it can slip sometimes. It's a bit creaky as well..! Brake cables could do with replacement as they were just what I had lying around. Pedals are plastic, and are only marginally better than not having any pedals at all! Tyres need replacing as well, but I have been riding 12 miles a day on them.
I need this bike gone as I am having a clear out, so price is £25 to pick up. If you want it but can't pick up for a while that's fine, I can store the bike in the loft for you.
Any questions feel free to PM!
