That time is upon me again, the time we all get to when the 'cave' is looking more and more congested, and the new 'projects' keep coming, but the current ones seeming never getting finished.
At the last count I have 19 bikes, and so I have to get the collection back down to a more reasonable level
I thought I would offer this one here to you guys before I throw it out to the wolves on ebay.
Here we have, what appears to me, to be a fairly original example of classic rigid mountain bike. There are loads of scars on it, and the odd patch of surface rust, but nothing major at all. The biggest scar is just ahead of the seat tube, as per the picture.
The seat post appears to be stuck solid, it was like this when I acquired it, I figured I would deal with that when it's time in the workshop came around. I put on some spare wheels and had a ride round, it all seems to be in good order. The wheels I have are only 7 speed, and as such are not matched with the 8spd shifters on the Marin.
All it needs is some wheels and possibly a brake cable replacing, the seat post freeing off and marrying up to a suitable bum support, and it is good to go.
I genuinely love my bikes and my collection, and believe me I feel like I am loosing a part of me when I have to sell one. But I cannot move in my den at the moment, so I have to accept some of my 'treasures' have to be sold on.
Anyway, here are the pictures..........

I can ship out via a courier, at extra cost, if needs be.
