Sold Marin 1995 Eldridge Grade Frameset - Large

Saw your ad on Ebay, I'm interested. And by doing it here it'll prolly save you fees I reckon.
How much would postage to Amsterdam be, also why is there 23 quid import fee on a 60 quid bike.
Is the frame measured by you personally (I assume so, as there are 2 measurements)
I'm 1.9m and want it as a commuter frame (so more of a tour fit then MTB)

cheers, Harald.

I can’t see this being economical for you my friend. Thanks for your interest.

Is 22” not exact enough ?
Well yes and no, the 18" on my GT is easily 20.5"
The 22" from my g/f Concorde Kudu is 58cm (23")
Seeing I'm looking for a specific minimum length I'd say it's not.
Unless you can say you have measured it yourself and it was indeed 22"

It wasn't a hard question when I asked if the frame was measured by you personally, but this is the way of the interwebs I reckon.

Thanks for measuring again, it is not large enough for me.
It needs to be at least 23" or 58CM
Then I'll be looking further for a 22" GT (23.5")

Good luck with selling it.

The head tube will be smaller on the gt....and if your touring thats the important part.....you can always put the seat up! Same goes for big 88 ish specialized too.

Marins run to about the biggest headtube on pretty much any production mtb specific frame. Unless you can find a niche frame like a huge pioneer or a custom build.

Yeah it's a shame that the bikes I'm not interested in are huge Treks and Giants.
Setting my eyes on a Karakorum Elite 22" but they are still hard to find.
Already got a donor bike (Zaskar LE 18" with XTR parts and fancy Mavic wheels)
The Zaskar frame will be sold.
