I have had these forks on my Kona Explosif for over 10 years, I purchased the bike second hand so i'm not sure of actual vintage.
They have lost a lot of their rebound of late, and the shop removing them last week said that the rebound spring has probably over tensioned and popped off. The top of the right leg adjuster is now striff to turn (I'm not technical so i hope that means something to someone).
They could probably do with a full refurb anyway as i've never had them done. The bike doesn't have the hardest life and has had more non use years in the last 10 than use years.
Steerer length is as shown 24cm and shows some signs of corrosion but I'm sure will clean up fine, the condition of the rest is as shown, not bad for the age in my oppinion but not purfect
I estimate from the scales and Royal Mail they will cost me about £10 to post so I am looking for £20 including posting if they are of use to anybody. I have authorisation to use my wife's paypal account (but I doubt I'll see the money, my problem though lol)
