Hi

I'm looking for Manitou Dorado Single Crown forks in good condition + Shipping to Australia or if you're in USA shipping to California. If you have them close to new I'll definitely pay more and I'm open to negotiation. I was looking at $450+ but like I said I'm totally open to negotiation for the right forks.

Just PM me and I'll actually get back to you with a reply and I won't waste your time.

Cheers, Donny

Re:

I know you won't want to hear this....
I've had a set and they aren't that special I'm sorry to say.

I got drawn to them with a nostalgic "wow I always dreamt of owning them".
The real truth is they are heavy, and don't outperform newer forks in anyway.

The 06 66SL's I had were lighter, stiffer, and way more supple.
The dorado's always felt a little bit dead, and you could feel the flex if you rode fast into rough stuff and were un-weighted on the front.

Have a look for any '06 Zocchi's with the Doppio air cart.
There not as bling, but way more fun to ride.

P.s. I do know how to tune the TPC+, but even doing this it never really got the fork to perform that well.
I had better performance out of the TPC+ Sektor's I made.

Yeah I have 2 sets of sektors and I reckon they're shite. I have a set of Shivers on another ride and they're great. I'm going to get a set of dorados and make up my own mind though. No offense but I never listen to other peoples reviews I just test myself and if I don't like them I'll on sell them.

So do you have a set??
