Hi all, after amassing various parts from here and there to refurbish a set of Manitou forks, it appears that I ended up with 4 sets. Due to a change in direction of build(s), I've now gone all pace, so my Manitou collection is no longer needed. I'm hoping my prices are realistic based on similar products being sold on here, but as always, if you feel my prices are too high, make me an offer. If you feel they are too low, feel free to let me know too, but that isn't really going to happen, so just snap up a bargain.

I'm after a set of XTR M95x 9 speed hubs and a descent threaded 1 1/8 headset so would be happy to trade/swap. I'm also partial to bike parts in general, so happy to take a look at what you have to trade.

Prices include postage.

All forks have been stripped, cleaned, serviced and re-greased. If anyone wants the 1 inch steerer on any of the other forks, I'd be happy to swap it over.

Large pics can be viewed at: http://s965.photobucket.com/albums/ae136/Ian_Shaw/Manitou/. Other pics can be taken on request of anything specific.

Up for grabs are:

1x Manitou comp. This is in great condition too, with a working set of medium elastomers fitted. I will also include a set of soft elastomers and a spare set of of top caps (unless someone else wants/needs these). The stantions are completely unmarked. Steerer is 1 inch threaded and 125mm long.
- (£50) > (£40) > £35

Spares:

Brace from a comp/sport
- (£10) > £7

Elatomers/spring for Manitou Magnum (hard). New in packet, never opened. Toyed with the idea of using them on the older manitous, but they are slightly wider in diameter so didn't use them.
- (£10) > £5

Skewer from an unknown manitou fork. It is a manitou skewer for sure, but I am not sure what fork (could be rear suspension?) it comes from. Includes top cap/pre-load adjuster. If you need one, it will only cost a couple of quid to cover postage.

Manitou 700c legs. Got these as karma and have used the crown. Will pass these on for karma (plus postage as I collected them) if anyone wants them. Legs and stantions are in good shape.

Elastomers, springs, seals, circlips and bushings. Some elastomers are specifically for the 3/4 range, others are slightly wider. Could get away with using thme on the 3/4s I reckon. Also included are some black elastomers that I have used to replace the second stage elastomers in the forks above where needed. Designed for range rover suspension bushings, but have some give in them and got the idea off the forum - I believe that some have replaced pro-flex elastomers with these. If anyone buys a set of forks, I'll throw in something from the spares pile at your request.

Sold items:

1x Manitou 3 in extremely good condition. Unless you can get NOS, in my opinion, this is the next best thing. Barely any marks at all on the black stantions, elastomers all good (medium) and in the extended travel guise at the moment (you can reduce the travel by removing an elastomer and re-jigging the second stage elastomers). 1 1/8 steerer, ahead with star nut - 205mm long).
- £80 (£70). Sold to mr_ship.

1x Manitou 3, again in great condition. The only real difference with the above is that the black colouring on one of the stantions has faded and is more light grey. This has not affected their performance, more of a cosmetic thing. These are also in long travel mode, and come with a mix of medium and hard elastomers. Shock boots included, though these were really for the fork in short travel mode so look short (I could be tempted to swap these with the ones from the fours if requested). Steerer is again 1 1/8 ahead, and almost 210mm long.
-£70 (£60) Sold to MadCowKev.

Mongrel/donor Manitou 4s. These are not in the best shape internally - one stantion has worn quite badly, but the other is fine. The crown also seems to have a small crack in it. Cosmetically the lowers are in very good condition, and if you wanted to go that route, you could swap the internals from any of the above over.
- £15 (£12)(though happy to swap bits/include if you buy another set of forks)

Speed springs (dual spring for better progression through travel). These fit the Manitou threes nicely and have indeed been fitted, though not ridden. Come with instructions. Bought for about £30 so yours for:
- £10. Sold to Mikee.

Englund damper. Seems to be working i.e. you can push it down and pulling it back up provides firm resistance. It has been sitting in my spares box for a while, but could be useful if you wanted to add it to any of the above forks - all fittings I believe are included, though you might need a circlip if I can't locate one. Comes with original instructions.

- (£12) > £10

Do all Manitou 3 forks have blue detailing?
