Manitou 3 Rebuilds......

I have had a pair of Manitou 3 shocks/forks come into the stable as it were.

Plan on using them on my 93 Zaskar LE build.

They need a full rebuild...

So asking before I spend the coin...

I do not know of or believe there is a spring/cartridge kit for the Manitou 3's... please correct me if I am wrong.

I am in Canada. Which means happy to order from EU as much as USA given tariffs.

Elastomers for sure. Happy to spend money for fresh seals as well.

Real world riding feedback welcome.

Avid brakes, sometimes rebranded as Marin.

If you’re in Canada, Suspension Fork Parts will be a good option. The fork you have is a Manitou 4. Fantastic fork, my personal favorite. Buttery smooth and very lightweight. Disassemble them and take inventory of what you will need in preparation for ordering from SFP. Clean them very thoroughly to assure you remove any petroleum based lube that may be stuck inside. They are very simple and well worth a fresh set of medium elastomers. Send me a message if you need help with the rebuild.
