Hi! Well, I just took delivery of the aforementioned frame, sold as a 'Magura test frame' with a sticker on from Mountain Mania of Didcot, Oxon..
Does anyone have any more info on the shop, anyone who works there & might be able to give some history of the frame, or anyone who has info on Magura's test-bike system?
(If not, I'll give them a call this weekend)
I believe that it's a Focus frame, probably a Black Forest, as I think Focus supply all the Magura test bikes.
I am 99% sure it's genuine too, given the detailing in the paintwork and decals done out in German 'team' colours.
It's SUPER-light too (1.67kg for an Aluminium frame, including headset & seatclamp :shock: ) so I'm planning on building it into a lightweight rigid or HT.
