Does anyone know if the HS33's can be stripped to the point where they can be re-powder coated? Cos if the can I can get them done cheap and reprint the decals

This may go some way to answering your question, though I'd be inclined to rattle-can etch-prime and paint them myself??

I was lead to believe they couyld be stripped down but a recent thread suggested that the pistons in the slaves are some sort of press fit and not serviceable at all.
I'm going to re paint mine, powder coaters are really sensitive about heating stuff they don't know.

You could strip and refinish the levers/master cylinder ok but you definatly cant get the piston out of the slave cylinder.

Belive me im the muppet that tried

Im making do with stripping the paint and polishing.
