Magura HS-33 hydraulic rim-brakes in iconic yellow. These brakes were bought, installed, immediately replaced with Hope XC-4's (!) and then hidden in my loft, along with all my other expensive precious things. Usually I would leave them there forever, but! - they found their way onto my much unloved commuter P7.
I depended heavily on these brakes for two years, where their huge, seatstay-flexing stopping power saved me from injury on many occasions. I regularly experienced problems with people in cars arising from an overly committed riding style and a steely resolve to never stop at roundabouts.
Good points: the brakes are in brilliant shape, despite daily use and lack of love. The levers look very clean, the cylinders look good apart from some chips and general wear and tear. The brakes are still boxed with the original unread manual, along with a bag of small parts that I never understood. I will even include the receipt for £120.
The bad: the pictures I took are flattering. The evolution adapters have lost a bit of paint. They look fine at face value but don't stand up to close scrutiny. They work fine though.
The braces are very tatty - I had a crack at painting them yellow but lost enthusiasm after the first one, so they don't match. The paint on the black one is bubbling, they are both corroded. Some elbow grease and a rattle can paint job/trip to the powder coaters/new ones from Chainreaction would fix them cosmetically...or just use them as they are.
Lastly, I can't find one of the bolts for one of the non-QR sides, but you could use any bolt and washer from your spares. I have also managed to lose one of the washers you use between the adapter and frame - I have three of the original four - but chainreaction sell these in pairs for £2.50. I don't think I used to use them on the rear brakes anyway, I suspect thats how one of them has gone astray.

Ideally I would like a thousand pounds for these brakes, but they can be yours for £45 posted.
