Could someone please point me in the direction of a strip / rebuild / service guide for mag 21s please.

Also, a reliable source of replacement elastomers (I assume they are elastomers)

Many thanks gents.

Re:

Air and Oil

Air is easy to find and a cheap spring.

Look in the Archive&galley under rockshox for service guides.

Any more just ask or search the forum (with Google)

How much of a service are you intending?

I bought a 40 quid avalanche - kore stem, lx parallax wheelset, lx cantos, xt mech and cranks initially as a donor as its a bit too small but I think I might just single speed it and treat it like a jumbo bmx for messing about on when I'm out with the little lad.

The Mag21's are practically siezed so may be banjaxed but wont know till they are stripped.

Re:

You don't normally find them seized.

Pop the dust wiper off, if it is there, clean under it out and pour some fork oil over the oil seal and fill the gap up.
If you have anything fine enough lift to top of the seal up a bit and let some oil seep in.

Pop the top caps off, pour some fork oil in.

Leave for a while.
Pop the caps on and pump them up to 100psi whatever if you can.
Then up end a few times and leave.

That should get the oil in to bits and bobs.
Let the air out.
Block of wood on the top and wack the bastards if they still don't move ;-)

Get a picture of them up
