Mag21's 1 inch steerer for sale or swaps

I have just bought a set of mag21's off the bay thinking I could just get the steerer threaded and give em a lick of paint and I'd be good to go. Turns out I'm an idiot as the steerer on these have a smaller internal diameter  than a standard 1" tube so you can't fit the stem in. Original eBay listing below with pics

I'd like back what I paid which is £41 posted, this will include me posting them on to you. I'd also be open to swaps for a 1" threaded fork with a minimum steerer length of 160mm

The fork boots in the eBay pics are not included as they didn't get to me with the forks.

I only really need a set of 1 inch threaded steerer forks at the moment tbh, min steerer 160mm. Not bothered if they are rigid or bouncy. Im always open to suggestions though bud.

i have had a look in my lock up i cant find the forks there. i might know some one with some i will get him to pm you if he still has them. if not happy hunting :D

Interesting fork that.

The fork itself is a MAG30 (1992)
The crown is a 1993 style crown, but with an Aluminium (aka SL) steerer which was a 1994 steerer and certainly shouldn't be threaded or in that crown (not that it doesn't work in that but must have been press fitted/bonded whatever at a later point).

Thanks for the info chap, I'm not great when it comes to retro suss forks. They function very well but aren't any good for my needs as I need a threaded steerer. The one in the crown looks to be press fitted and is absolutely solid.

If they are a bit of a mix up of mag forks are they likely to be dodgy? I don't want to pass on anything that may be dangerous.

Should be fine if everything looks good.

You never know someone might have a threaded 1" steerer and want a 1" threadless (95/100mm headtube)
