As spares/repairs £25

These are now up for sale again. Sold for £55 but have now come back to me from the buyer with stripped threads in one brace/canti boss. Not sure if it went like that or the buyer was over eager with an Allen key.

In reality it's not a true SL as the crown is a regular Mag21 I think. It's tarnished and flaking but seems to hold air well.

It comes with a 1 1/8 steerer 180mm

If Andy B comes knocking, I've been on the look out for some for him to fix his bike up.

Seals split ? is that just the dust seals.
Are they holding oil ?

I had one with a stripped thread so just drilled it and tapped it to the next size up and is perfect.

The reason it had stripped was someone had replaced one of the studs with one slightly too long which bottomed out before doing up, then took the threads out.

iirc it was 6mm and is now an 8mm or something along those lines.

Yup, just the dust wipers that are split. They're still on one peice but a but perished.

If Andy B doesn't pop in and snap them up, I'll be back a bit later today and buy them off you as I can fix them up and use them. Helicoil is RockShox official answer to the stripped thread. It's even in their manual.

Ahh, so this is what you PM'd me about FC, well I guess it is as you forgot to put the link in the PM

Deffo interested in them, then FC can have his fork legs back (thanks for letting me borrow them) and get his bike back out on the trails too.

Just to be clear everyone. I sold these to Scant at £55 a few weeks back. He's not happy with them, I've refunded him and so is sending them back to me. I tried killing 2 birds with one stone and was going to get scant to send them on to whoever wanted them. Turns out that's not the done thing. If you're interested in them reply here and I'll post them out one I get them back to me.
