MacMahone the sword hardtail

I had to clear some space in the garage yesterday and i need more so selling a few things. First up is this lovely MacMahone the sword frame. It's in excellent condition, just a bit of cable rub, but very little else.

It had an RRP of over £500 when new and is a really nice frame with some lovely details, especially the seat stay bridge which is IMHO a work of art. Square seat and chain stays, down tube gusset and lovely drop outs.

The only issue with it is that a bottle boss on the down tube is very slightly loose. It still takes a bolt but I'd be wary of getting it out again easily. An easy fix if you want to use a bottle cage.

It takes a 1 1/8 headset, a 27.2 seat post, and iirc suits a 100-120 fork.

Comes with original seat post qr clamp.

Seat tube is 17.5 inches c2c, 19 c2t.

Top tube is 23 inches c2c.

Head tube is 120mm.

BB shell is 68mm.

I'm only after what I paid, which was £80.

I've got plenty of parts to help build this up, if you need anything just ask. I had it built up with xt 3x10, Reba, Ritchey wcs wheels etc. Some parts I need for another project, others are available, as are plenty more from the stash.

It's why I bought it initially. I only rode it once and it was very nice too, but shortly after finishing it I ended up buying a carbon 29er which has become my go to bike when I get time to ride, so it's a shame to let it gather dust when it deserves more (which can also be said for other bikes I have, but I've got to start somewhere).
