Don't recognise the crown as McMahon (maybe later forks i guess), and the brake booster looks bloody horrible.....
Rare if original....

the bridge is original, I have definitely seen another with the same bridge, and an advert from a magazine with that bridge too. I dont recall the crown on those other forks, but its not a crown I recognise off anything else, and if its home made its a bloody good job

I dont know if horrible is the right word, utilitarian, or brutalist perhaps, but not horrible.

do you not need them for your ever expanding MacMahon collection Drewson?

Horrible IMO i'm afraid.....but i guess others might like them....

I have 2 sets of McMahon sus forks, and neither have a crown like that....however, though i may have plenty of MRC stuff, i would never profess to be an expert on the works of Mr Steve McMahon

Think i may have just about enough in the way of McMahon stuff now...

Mcmahon suspension forks don't have a good reputation. Pretty to look at, not so safe to use. Have a look at MTBR for some comments about them.
