Macbook cracked screen - repair?

Managed to stand on my gf's macbook and crack the screen recently Been looking on 'tinterweb and can get replacement screens on ebay, but the tutorial to replace it looks a bit heavy. Anyone on here know of a good place to use or could fix it themselves? (any IT repair people?)

They are pretty straight forward as long as you dont mind the fact the some bits are glued together. :shock: :roll:

I used to work for an Apple service contract repairing these and was surprised to find double sided tape involved.

Home insurance should cover this.

Sadly my home insurance doesn't cover this Are they relatively straight forward to fix then?
